Located in the center of Istanbul, you’re just a short walk from popular attractions like the Blue Mosque, Little Hagia Sophia, and Big Hagia Sophia. The food, the hustle, and excitement are right at your doorstep. Our host, Barbaros, owns a cozy restaurant and a few shops nearby, making it convenient for quick bites and local shopping.

Our journey to Cappadocia started at IST Airport, one of Istanbul’s two bustling airports. Packed yet efficient, this airport is a gateway to many adventures. We took a one-hour flight to a smaller town about 30 minutes away from Cappadocia.

The flight was comfortable and surprisingly better than expected, with ample legroom and tasty snacks—more than we had on our longer international flights. It was a nonstop flight, perfectly catering to the needs of weary travelers.
